We stayed in property 186 Casa Charissa for 12 nights, the villa was exceptional very clean, great pool and putting green. This was the first time we had booked a villa independently and were cautious, but A1 villas have been excellent and helped us every step of the way, with great communication the villa was exactly as advertised and we could not fault it in any way. We will be recommending to family and friends and will hopefully be booking again. Great hols with thanks to the whole team. David Trish

A beautiful villa with everything that you require for a comfortable stay. and in a great location. My only recommendation would be to have a local map showing the supermarket (we spent four days before we found the one at the top of the street). It was nice to have tea and coffee for our arrival.

Very nice villa with everything included to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Small supermarket close by but well hidden so you will have to explore a bit. Walking into the main seafront takes about 15/20 mins and we did this often. It's a flat walk and there are several different ways you can go. We got a taxi a couple of times from the distant edges of the town and where surprised how little this cost. The villa is lovely and hopefully some of the others on the estate will be occupied in the future. It's a bit of a ghost town at the moment.First time to lanzerote and it won't be the last and would certainly stay in this villa again.

When we first booked this villa we was a little bit apprehensive as we like to see a review or two before we book, however we needn't worry as the villa is lovely and the photos and description are a good representation of the the condition. The furnishings are very well thought out, it is clean, modern, very comfortable and spacious and the kitchen is probably better equipped than most homes ! The booking process was very easy with good communication and information from the managers, i'm not sure if someone was meant to stop by when we was out there, but for us it was fine being left to our own devices. The area itself is new, with what seems a considerable percentage of villas not occupied and some of the roads still to be finished, but it just made for a quieter stay which we liked. The walk to the town is about 25 minutes (unless we was going the long way?!) and around 1 mile but it's not a bad stroll, or a couple of minutes by car, where there is pretty much everything you would want in a town when away. Pool heating was worth having, it didn't make it a bath, but a bit more comfortable to dip/swim than not having it ! My only observation would be it got quite hot in the villa as there is no air con, the fans do an ok job but sometimes it would have been nice to have a place to cool down a bit more, but this is just an observation, it wouldn't put me off booking again, overall i really liked the villa, location and price and i would recommend to others.

The villa was high spec with everything we needed. On our arrival the villa was very clean all ready for us with a welcome pack of basics. The location was quiet ideal for couples the centre of Playa Blanca was an easy downhill walk of about 10-15 mins. A taxi back cost 3-4 euros. The villa was serviced while we were there also the pool was cleaned on a regular basis. We would definately use this villa again if we go to Playa Blanca. A! villas were excellent to deal with eg: emails answered quickly very friendly staff etc we would use this company again.

What a fantastic villa! We arrived quite late and were happily surprised to find a welcome pack, which included tea and coffee-much needed after the flight and drive! Waking up the next morning to glorious sunshine, as well as the pool we were pleasantly surprised to find the villa had its own mini putting green-which was used every day! The pool was lovely and we used it every day, but would definitely recommend paying for the pool heating at Easter as it would have been too chilly without it Casa Charissa was a definite home from home! We had the radio tuned to Buzz FM and made full use of the outdoor bbq! There is a little shop on the complex, but the town is only 5 minutes away, so the option is there to eat in and out (Marina Rubicon has some fab restaurants! ) The only problem we had...was leaving! We were so comfortable and relaxed that we were seriously disappointed when our vacation came to an end!

Casa Charissa is a lovely villa situated a short 15 minute walk from the centre of Playa Blanca. The outside space and pool was spotless and great for chilling / sunbathing after a morning sightseeing on the island and the facilities inside ideal for a relaxed holiday here you could please yourself whether you ate out or stated in to barbecue. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the service provided by the A1 team!

First of all the owner/management of A1 villas where extraordinary helpful and catering, they catered for every aspect for our stay for example the villa we stayed at had 2 double beds but we needed one double and 2 singles which they arranged for us. Secondly this villa had no air con so we asked A1 villas to hire 2 air con units ( at our cost) and they did and the amount they charged us for these 2 air con units where far cheaper then What we could find online. Also we where at the villa for 3 weeks and our 14 year old son could not imagine having no guitar for 3 weeks so once again A1 villas came to the rescue and hired us a guitar for a very very reasonable price. Wi Fi very good. The villa was welcoming and homely with very good fixtures, fittings and furniture, it was very modern and spotlessly clean. It was very spacious. Whoever furnished this villa took real pride in it and did not skimp on price when doing so. The pool was very private and the outdoor furniture was top quality, not your usual plastic tac. The villa is about 15/20 minute walk to the resort/beach or 4 euros in a taxi, so it was ideally located. Thankyou A1 villas for a lovely holiday, we know where to come when booking a villa.

Firstly I would like to thank A1Villas for being so helpfull and prompt in all aspects. We were 2 couples arriving mid November for 9 nights. When we arrived the directions were easy to follow and access to our villa was simple. The photos are a true representation, it was spacious and clean with everything you could possibly need. The pool area is excellent and the evenings were spent Outside as the weather was lovely and mild. We only ate out once as we loved the BBQ , there was a supermarket (superdino) in the centre of playa blanca opposite the bus station which had a butcher's and fishmongers, and bbq coals. Also there is a fresh fish shop at the port. There is fabulous walks along the front from the lighthouse right along to the marina rubicon and beyond to numerous fabulous beaches. The local market is on Saturday and Wednesday at the marina and worth a visit. We hired a car and had a short drive to El golfo a lovely little village with a few bars and restaurants which is worth a visit. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and can't wait to return again very soon

We stayed at Casa Charissa for our first family holiday with or new baby. Firstly, I must state, that A1 villas were exceptional prior to our arrival. Any request we had, they sorted for us instantly with no issue. I was constantly asking questions prior to our arrival (first holiday with a small baby left me with lots of questions about he accommodation) and I always got a response almost instantaneously. Request for a cot was fulfilled and also access to the villa slightly earlier than the normal check in time. The villa itself was perfect for or stay. Beautifully finished and so spacious. The outside dining area was perfect for us as it was constantly shaded offering protection for the baby. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need and complex was lovely. Couple of points: we hired air conditioning units and unfortunately because the tube needed to go out the window, it wasn't great as they kept falling back in and having the window open just blew the blinds all the time. I would suggest maybe just using the fans and not paying for the units as we didn't end up using them? So a waste of money. Secondly, we only found the quick route to the town on the second to last day so directions in the villa would be good. Lastly, basics to wash up (like sponges and fairy liquid) would be useful as you don't really want to buy a large bottle for just a short stay. Apart from that, we had a lovely stay and if we return to Lanzarote we would absolutely choose this villa again!
